Our August meeting went really well! (review to follow soon).
We did announce one piece of news that deserves it’s own post though.
As you may know the group has been run jointly by myself (Andy Parkes) and Guy Gregory since October last year.
Last night we announced that Guy would be stepping down.
The last 9-10 months have been a bit of a whirlwind but I’d like to thank Guy for all his hard work in that time.
If it wasn’t for Guy I wouldn’t even be in a position to take over running of the group on my own!
He won’t be going anywhere in the meantime as he is one of three Small Business Specialist Partner Area Leads Microsoft have appointed for the year.
We hope that AMITPRO still brings value and if you see Guy in person, on Twitter or Facebook please just say a quick thanks to him!
His hard work, organisation and fresh ideas have been very much appreciated.
As for moving forward…
AMITPRO is very much all about collaboration and working together. If you’re interested in getting involved in shaping the group please do get in touch.

Well done to both Guy and Andy – you’ve done a phenomenal job of raising the bar at AMITPRO. Andy, happy to support you and whomever else in running the group.

Thanks Andy, it’s been a real pleasure helping run the group for the last year. It goes without saying that I wouldn’t have been able to do it without your help, and I know that the group is in great hands going forward.
